If you wish to attend any of the events for which there is a fee, you will need to register and pay in advanceIf you are registering more than one person, change the number in Quantity to the appropriate number.  The price will automatically be adjusted.  If you need to pay for more than one item, please click on Continue Shopping in the PayPal checkout page.  To pay with a credit or debit card, select "Checkout Without A PayPal Account" when you are ready to pay for your selections.

Please note that we can only accept registrations thru March 21, 2019 at 6:00 PM.

Registration Options:

We offer three convienent ways to register for the festival.

Online (preferred): You can register for the events and pay with a credit or debit card using our secure PayPal shopping cart. Registration and payment are required for anyone who wants to 1) attend the Keynote program by Dr. Tallamy,  2) join us for lunch,  or 3) participate in the Nest Box Building workshop.  If you do not need to attend any of those, you DO NOT need to register.  The best deal is $15 per person for BOTH lunch and the Tallamy program.   But if you don’t need lunch, it is only $5 to register for the Tallamy progam.  The Nest Box Workshop is $25 – one per family.  See below to register online.

Phone:  Call Gail Chapman at 815-730-1194 and leave a message with your name, number of people attending who will be having lunch, or just for the Tallamy program.  If you want to attend the workshop, leave that info too.  Provide your phone number and she will call back providing instructions how to send in payment.  She can NOT accept credit card payments over the phone.

Mail:    Mail a check for the number of lunches required ($15 each) plus the workshop fee (Or alternatively number of $5 fees for the keynote program) to the Michigan Bluebird Society, P.O. Box 2028, Ann Arbor, MI  48106-2028.  You can download an easy to fill out order form here and include it with your check.  Make sure to include your contact information.

 Online Registration Options

1.  Spend the day at the festival and attend a presentation by our keynote speaker Doug Tallamy for

just $5. Click on Add to Cart here to register and pay in advance to enjoy the festival and keynote speaker.

2.  BEST DEAL - Enjoy all of the festival events (except the nest box workshop), eat lunch with us

and attend a presentation by keynote speaker Doug Tallamy for only $15. To register and

and pay in advance for the keynote speaker and to have lunch with us click Add to Cart here.

3Take part in the Nest Box Building Workshop for $25  (registration limited to first 20 to 25

registrants).  Limited to one registrant per family.  To register and pay in advance for the

nest box building workshop, please click on Add to Cart here.

Why do you need to register and pay in advance?  Due to the popularity of the Dr. Tallamy program and seating limitations, we need to have a firm number of people attending the event.  Also, the MBS needs to commit to and pay for all lunches and nest box kits in advance. Registering and paying in advance will also simplify and speed up checking in, when you arrive at the festival.  We will have a list of all registrants. You will just give us your name and we check it off.  No one will have to wait in line while we get your name, email address, etc. and take your payment.

Refund Policy:  We will refund your money if you decide to cancel, up until March 21st.  After that, any funds collected will be considered donations.
